Andy Tookey

Partner, Baily Garner

Andy is a Chartered Building Surveyor and qualified Project Manager. He is an Equity Partner at Baily Garner LLP and RICS APC Assessor. Trained to IVM advanced level 2, he is responsible for the development and application of Value Management Techniques.

Andy has lead on a number of large urban regeneration schemes and his technical background covers refurbishment, design and build, construction management, adaptations and special needs projects within the Public, Private, Residential and Commercial sectors.

He is also a member of the Bermondsey Group and responsible within his Practice for ensuring reviews of legislation and thinking that affects the industry. Consequently Andy has provided strategic advice to clients and influential bodies.

Andy chaired Baily Garner's internal Egan Core Group and has provided advice on Strategic Procurement to a range of clients. As a result, he has strong views on partnering arrangements and what works, what doesn't and why.

Andy works closely with Baily Garner's Environmental Assessment Group and was instrumental in a number of influential publications; most recently he has pioneered a low carbon refurbishment initiative with a Housing Association, working on a portfolio of street properties.
