About the Construction Commitments
The Construction Commitments (formerly the 2012 Commitments) are "6 principles through which the construction industry will endeavour to achieve a better industry and achieve best practice" that have been put together by the Strategic Forum for Construction. You can view and sign up to The Construction Commitments at the Strategic Forum website here. The Housing Corporation has also adapted the Construction Commitments to produce "2012 Construction Commitments - Affordable housing providers". It is a requirement for recipients of grant from the National Affordable Housing Programme 2008-2011 to sign up to this version of the Construction Commitments.
