Purpose and Scope
The purpose of producing a cost generating model is to inform a formal application to DCLG for an ALMO or a housing transfer.
Timing/Timescales
Possibly two years from finalisation of Options Appraisal. Typical duration usually a few weeks to produce a model.

Stock Condition Data + other variable (feed to model)
Two standard models:
- Building Cost Model (BCM) (for ALMO)
- Cost Generation Model (CGM) (for LSVT)
- Others
Outputs:
- model
Warranty for any services used
Other Gateway Items
Consider use of same surveyor as SCS to ensure compatibility and continuity of outlook, understanding and methodology.
